HANOS has been working with Brauerei C. & A. Veltins from Grevenstein in Germany’s Sauerland region for more than twenty years. HANOS offers a complete Veltins concept: from the various beer brands such as Veltins, Grevensteiner, Pülleken and V+ to matching glassware, bar supplies and terrace solutions.

What makes Veltins so special?

Fresh hops grown especially for Veltins, deliberately without hop extract.
Veltins is brewed with exceptionally soft spring water from its own springs, which originate in the Homert Nature Park in the Hochsauerland.
Only high-quality brewing barley from traditional growing regions is used. The experts then make sure that only the best barley malt ends up in the brew kettle.

Veltins Grevensteiner Pülleken

Veltins

Brauerei C. & A. Veltins, the renowned brewery from Grevenstein in Germany’s Sauerland region, has been brewing authentic Veltins pilsner according to the Reinheitsgebot since 1824. With just four pure ingredients (water, grain, hops and yeast), Veltins is known for its clear, fresh taste and consistent quality. The core range includes Veltins Pilsener, Pilsener 0.0%, Radler, Radler 0.0% and V+ Curuba. In addition to these beers, stylish matching glassware is also available to enhance the drinking experience.

Tip: Veltins Helles Lager

Veltins Helles Lager is a smooth, lightly malty Helles beer (5.0% alcohol). This classic Helles style belongs to the lager category. The bottom-fermented, filtered lager is brewed according to the Reinheitsgebot, using only water, barley malt, yeast and freshly harvested hops, without additives or hop extract. The subtle malt aroma and the elegant balance between freshness and smoothness give this beer its contemporary character.

The history of Veltins

In 1883, the brewery moved from the centre of Grevenstein to the edge of the village. In 1893, the twin brothers Anton and Carl Veltins took over their father’s brewery and named it Brauerei C. & A. Veltins. In 1926, Carl decided to brew only Pilsener beer. The deciding factor was that the brewery had access to pure spring water, which was considered essential for brewing Pilsener.

Grevensteiner

With Grevensteiner, Brauerei C. & A. Veltins brings the traditional craft of brewing to life in an authentic way. The recognisable classic design and the characteristic Steinie bottle refer to the brewery’s rich brewing history. Grevensteiner Original is known as an unfiltered, robust country beer with a warm amber colour and a full-bodied taste, brewed with soft spring water, freshly harvested hops and traditional malts.

Pülleken

Pülleken is a smooth, lightly malty Helles beer from Brauerei C. & A. Veltins, inspired by the fresh and approachable brewing tradition of southern Germany. This lager is known for its mild taste, subtle hop aromas and refined balance, giving it a smooth, easy-drinking character. Thanks to its soft malt notes and sparkling freshness, Pülleken is perfect for lovers of a clear, light beer. The charming small bottle and cheerful label reinforce the light and approachable character of Pülleken.
