St. Idesbald

Belgian abbey beer, exclusive to HANOS

St. Idesbald is a Belgian abbey beer brewed by Brouwerij Huyghe in Melle, also known for its Delirium beer. Until 1994 the beers were brewed by Brouwerij Damy in Olsene. In February 1994 that brewery passed into the hands of Huyghe, which continued brewing the beers. In 2004 St. Idesbald Rousse (amber) was added to the range. The name refers to the Abbey of Our Lady of the Dunes and to Saint Idesbald, the third abbot of the Dunes Abbey around 1155. St. Idesbald carries the ‘Certified Belgian Abbey Beer’ label.
